Budget Your Trip offers free online tools to agents

US-based Budget Your Trip has started offering some of its travel agent tools for free to registered users.
The firm, which was established in 2009 offering online resources to travel professionals and travellers, has created a “free plan”.
This includes a Client Relationship Manager, a Task Tracker, which allows agents to focus on a client’s needs rather than paperwork, and agent-generated supplier reviews.
The latter allows agents to share their views on suppliers and other industry issues such as commissions, according to Budget Your Trip.
To access the free BYT Agent online tools agents must register. No software needs to be downloaded.
Budget Your Trip also offers a paid-for “Pro” service for $15 a month which includes an Invoice Creator, Itinerary Builder and Group Trip Organiser. The Pro service can be used free during a 15-day trial period.
