New investors include Sutter Hill Ventures, General Catalyst Partners, Concur Technologies and Felicis Ventures.

Individual backers include Expedia founder Rich Barton, former Expedia chief Erik Blachford and Spencer Rascoff, chief executive of Zillow.

The funding takes the total amount Room77 has raised in the three rounds to $43.8 million having launched in February 2011.
