Travelport and Rickshaw renew contract

East African tour operator Rickshaw Travels has signed a three and a half year renewal of a contract with Travelport.
The deal will see Travelport continue to provide Rickshaw Travels – which has eight sales offices in east Africa, London and Toronto – with technology including next generation booking tool Travelport Smartpoint.
The technology firm’s Africa managing director Mark Meehan said: “Travelport has enjoyed a highly successful relationship with Rickshaw Travels for more than 10 years and the new contract rubberstamps Travelport’s ongoing investments in east Africa as a strategic priority region.
