Jesper With-Fogstrup named as interim Laterooms MD after Morris exit

Tui Travel business to consumer division managing director Chris Morris is standing down and leaving the travel industry.

Morris is becoming chief executive of employment law and health and safety solutions provider Citation from March 18.

He will remain in the business, which includes Laterooms.com, for the next few weeks in order to ensure a smooth handover to interim managing director Jesper With-Fogstrup, currently divisional operations director.

Morris joined Laterooms.com as finance director in 2005 and was then quickly promoted to the role of managing director.

He was integral to Laterooms.com becoming a successful part of Tui Travel and subsequently led the expansion of the brand and the B2C Division through the acquisition of sister brands AsiaRooms.com and MalaPronta.com in Brazil.

With-Fogstrup joined the business last April, moving from Gullivers Travel Associates where he was senior vice president of global hotel strategy and sourcing.

Morris said: “I am exceptionally proud of what we as a team have achieved over the years and the brands that we have built.

“I leave the business in Jesper´s very capable hands. He has extensive experience in this industry, as well as being a confident and driven leader. I know that an exciting and prosperous future lies ahead for all of our brands.”
