Lowcostbeds joins Travelport's Rooms and More

Lowcostbeds.com has joined Travelport’s Rooms and More hotel booking engine.

The Lowcost Travel Group arm, which operates in 95 countries, is the 19th supplier to join Travelport Rooms and More since the engine was launched in 2011.

The new deal will add more than 90,000 hotels to Travelport’s database, which had 375,000 hotels and 950,000 offers available at the end of 2012.

Lowcost Travel Group sales director Paul Riches said: “We’re very pleased to be working with Travelport and distributing our extensive hotel content through Travelport Rooms and More - it’s an important new channel for us and a great way for agents to easily earn commissions when booking hotels for their customers.”

Travelport hospitality and partner marketing group vice president Niklas Andréen said:  “The extensive hotel content on Travelport Rooms and More continues to grow at a rapid rate and it is fantastic to welcome lowcostbeds.com on board.
