GOSS Interactive showcased three new products at Travel Technology Europe for agents to plug into their websites to offer their customers a VIP service.
HolidayWall, TravelPlanner and GuideMe have been developed to help retailers provide a more personal and inspirational service before, during and after booking their trip.
HolidayWall uses imagery to provide an inspirational style of search, and the technology behind it also learns customer preferences to provide more tailored recommendations.
The product was developed after GOSS won a pitch competition run by the BBC to create a new form of search functionality.
Users can move sliders to filter their results based on the relative importance of various criteria of the trip they are after.
TravelPlanner enables customer to build and share their travel plans. Based on a Google Maps integration, it allows agents to input their own content to suggest things to do and places to visit.
The platform allows users to share their plans with their followers on social networks and can be integrated into existing websites.
GuideME is a post-booking application that allows the travel firm to provide their customers with a personal concierge service in the form of a virtual brochure.
The app is mobile friendly and includes all content relevant to the booking; it also allows the retailer to include bespoke offers to increase share of wallet,
The brochure can be delivered either as in fully responsive HTML format or in a more static PDF format which can be printed, saved or forwarded.
Anthony Peake, marketing director at GOSS Interactive, said all three products have been fully developed and are ready for travel firms to start using on their websites.
“Customers want to have an enjoyable shopping experience and be able to see all your rich content so they can choose the holiday that is right for them.
“We think these products can ensure travel firms stay ahead of the game and offer their clients a VIP service tailored and personalised to their needs.
One of GOSS’s key travel clients, Brittany Ferries, has been using TravelPlanner and GuideME on its websites.
As well as travel clients, GOSS also creates sites for public bodies, the BBC and the Met Office, so Peake said it was used to delivering both secure and properly auditable websites.
