The Croatian National Tourist Board is poised to push ahead with its recently launched social media campaign for the country with the launch of a new website.
ShareCroatia.hr is due to go live on June 1, encouraging visitors to share their experiences under the ‘Visit Croatia. Share Croatia’ social campaign.
Visitors will be encouraged to use hashtags of #LoveCroatia and #ShareCroatia on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Vine as they post their content in real time.
Visitors could then find themselves fronting up Croatia’s YouTube video campaign. Its current video campaign features footage from seven visitors to the country.
Tonko Rilović, UK and Ireland director of the CNTO, said: “The ShareCroatia.hr website is a fantastic addition to our social media campaign as it will continuously showcase new photos, videos and tweets, and has the potential to become a trusted resource for returning and future holidaymakers this year and beyond.
“We’re really proud of our first social media campaign and believe it will go some way to introducing a whole new generation of travellers to the charms of Croatia.
“There’s a wealth of information about holidaying in Croatia, and our snappy video campaign featuring actual tourists will hopefully provide instant inspiration to those who are still undecided about where to go this summer.”
