Development of a new website for Dubai-based SouthTravels has been completed by Multicom - its first major contract since launching a drive to grow its business presence in the Gulf region.

The new site Trip.SouthTravels.com is built around Multicom’s WebVoyage platform with improved functionality.

The WebVoyage system also allows users to find, share, save and book their favourite content while providing support for search engine marketing, web analytics and social media.

The travel agency will also be expanding its product range with the addition of cruise holidays via the travel software company’s FindandBook system.

Multicom managing director John Howell said that securing the contract “underpins our commitment to develop our business in the region and establishes our credentials in the market working with such a reputable Middle East company”.

South Travels managing director Naseer Khan said: “Online travel booking in the region, particularly in Dubai, will continue to show strong growth in the coming years and South Travels release of the new website will provide customers with the right booking tools they need 24/7.”
