Accommodation content management company Lanyon has won a multi-year deal with Classic International Hotels to provide a wide-ranging distribution tool.

Under the deal, Lanyon will create a content management system across the Classic International network of 1,000 privately owned hotels in five continents.

The partnership will allow Classic Hotels to step up its distribution method for hoteliers amid greater automation of hotel booking and inventory systems in the wider hotel sector.

Lanyon executive vice president Roland Tanner said: “Classic International Hotels understand the importance of efficient content distribution for their members and are focused on building an effective distribution model for their hotels.

“Integration with our content solutions gives them the tools to achieve this.”

The Classic International affiliation scheme is part of Business Travel International group.
