Worldspan in car booking upgrade

Worldspan has updated its car rental technology platform Go! Car Booking Tool.
The technology supplier has adopted the Association of Car Rental Industry Systems Standards Car Classification System, and as part of the move it has added 3,000 images of the cars to the desktop system.
Each make of car from the nine car rental firms on the system – including Europcar, Budget and Avis – has a minimum of four pictures for travel agents to show to customers.
Worldspan senior vice-president Sue Powers said the car booking system is a time- saving tool for agents because it compares content and prices of all the major car rental suppliers.
