Fulham FC install online travel tools

Fulham Football Club has become one of the first UK clubs to include a complete hotel and flight search facility on its website.

The London-based club has included the tools initially as part of its away match travel section for supporters.

Travel4Sports.co.uk, which has built and is hosting the service, has since included a full search engine for flights, hotels and package holidays.

Supporters will also be offered cheap domestic room rates if a match coincides with a trip.

Groups manager at Travel4Sports, Angela Buss, said: “We have been selected to work with Fulham as we can provide the Fulham fan base with travel options that are easy to select and book without having to involve the club’s administration process – this a big benefit to both the club and its home and travelling supporters.”

Travel4Sports is part of the PPA Group, which recently launched a white label online travel system for the Woolworths High Street brand.

Fulham FC head of retail and ticketing, Debbie Silver, said: “The online solution provides enormous added value to the travel section of the club website in a highly cost effective manner whilst at the same time giving supporters greater choice and flexibility.”
