Hostelworld creates city podcasts

Student online travel agency Hostelworld.com has launched a series of downloadable podcasts for 25 sightseeing tours around the globe.

The guides include traditional walking tours and information about sights and attractions, but also practical advice on location of internet cafes, transport and currency.

Each podcast is around 12-15 minutes long has been produced by Hostelworld.com editor, Colm Hanratty.

Managing director Niamh Ni Mhir said: “Technology plays a significant role in travel, and it is important to accommodate customers' needs.

“The podcasts and pocket guides make travelling even more convenient, fun and modern.

“We want our customers to have the best experience during their trips, and these guides are easy ways to help them become immersed into the culture of their chosen destinations.”
