TravelSupermarket creates B&B channel

Travelsupermarket has added to its accommodation meta search category by including Bed & Breakfast search for the UK.

The section was created by plugging into the itinerary of 20 providers of B&B listings from around the UK including Laterooms, Active, Superbreak, Ebookers and Opodo.

Over 3,000 properties will be available in the category, boosting what has been a notoriously difficult sector to distribute via the web

Travelsupermarket hotels’ manager, Alexis Garrick, said: “The public has a longstanding love affair with the British B&B and appreciate the more personal touch they offer. The new function helps visitors to the site find the best prices on accommodation that suits them.

“The new facility allows small and medium-sized accommodation providers to increase their internet exposure and sell their rooms online in real-time.”
