North American cruise retailer Viva Voyage is powering the newly-launched cruise offer from ebookers.com.

Viva Voyage is behind the cruise channel on ebookers' sister company in the US, Orbitz.

Ebookers.cruises.com is 'owned and operated' by Viva Voyage, which is an ABTA member. There will be links through from the ebookers homepage to the cruise site, although the intention is that it will 'stand alone'.

With access to Viva Voyage's call centre, the site claims to have the longest 'opening hours' of any cruise specialist in the UK, with staff on hand to talk customers through their purchase from 09:00 – 02:00 Monday through Friday and from 10:00 – 23:00 Saturday and Sunday.

It will offer real-time availability and booking for 23 cruise lines, covering more than 200 ships. As with all ebookers content, the cruise channel offers a best price guarantee.

ebookers and Viva Voyages 'will work closely together to open cruising to individuals who have never considered taking a cruise' although details are not disclosed. The site will kickstart its presence via a PPC campaign.
