Comtec ready for TravelConnect trial

Comtec is preparing to test the first phase of its TravelConnect search and booking system with a customer.
The travel technology specialist previewed the system at the Travel Technology Show in February.
Comtec will spend the next few weeks gaining feedback on the usability of the system before putting it on general release.
The first phase offers package holidays while a second phase, which will offer component-building technology, is planned for testing at the end of September.
Further versions are also in the pipeline to incorporate more travel elements including cruises, car hire and attraction tickets.
