Hotels video site TripTV.com and ticket exchange Viagogo.com have both confirmed additional funding this week, with the latter naming lastminute.com's co-founder Brent Hoberman as one of its backers.

Viagogo, which is based in London, has raised $15m in its latest funding round. In total it has raised $70 million - $30 million in 2007, and $25 million in earlier rounds.

Towards the end of last year, it named Alex Zivoder as its Europe MD. Zivoder joined from Expedia, where he was senior vice president, Expedia Europe.

As well as naming Brent Hoberman as one its investors, it also announced that tennis veterans Andre Agassi and Stefanie Graf have not only backed the site but also will sit on the advisory board.

Elsewhere, TripTV.com has picked up another €7 million in funding, following on an initial $4.8 million in 2007 from investors Balderton Capital and Partech International.

The Paris-based business was founded by four former Expedia Europe employees, including Marc Ruff, formerly president Expedia Europe and now CEO of TripTV.

It uses professionally filmed video footage within its search engine, with bookings made directly with affiliates and partners.

Further details are expected shortly.
