Tour operator technology supplier BlueSky has unveiled a new version of its itour system.

The technology has been enhanced with new functionality such as a dynamic pricing engine enabling users to be flexible when marking up product.

Itour now also features web-booking journeys – ready-made booking templates for combinations of different travel components, which companies can over-brand with their own look and feel. The templates are already being used across 800 Thomas Cook shops.

BlueSky sales and marketing director Nick Fowler said: “We have about 12 of these in the pipeline and it’s like an out of the box website for smaller tour operators who don’t want to spend a lot of money in building a website.

In the back office, operators will have access to more detailed management information.

Rail and ferry connectivity are also a feature of this latest version of itour, which has been in development for the past 18 months.
