Travelport launches re-pricing tool

Travelport has unveiled a ticket re-pricing technology Rapid Reprice for UK and Ireland Customers.
The technology was originally developed by Worldspan to cut down the time it takes to re-price and re-issue flight tickets, which can take up to 25 minutes manually.
Travelport Rapid Reprice reduces the time down to between 1 and 5 minutes by automatically searching old and new fares and presenting a new airfare.
The result takes into account any applicable rules, taxes, refunds, penalties and administrative fees.
The technology can process up to nine passengers within a single booking file and includes public and private fares of participating airlines.
The speedy re-price of tickets can be made before departure as well as during the journey.
