Holiday rental site HouseTrip launched

HouseTrip, a service designed to make the holiday rental process easier, has been unveiled.
The service provides a platform for owners to list their property free of charge, upload images and answer questions from potential guests. It also allows them to view the profiles of potential guests and receive online bookings.
HouseTrip has adopted some of the features of social media channels including a ‘Wall’ feature for interacting with customers and a reviews feature for feedback on the properties.
The service features an auction service for owners to put their property out to the highest bidder as well as a groups area enabling owners to target specific organisations and communities.
HouseTrip also provides hosts with a property management system allowing them to manage bookings, define booking conditions and calculate revenues.
