Tripit integrates with Facebook Connect

Itinerary planning specialist TripIt has integrated its service with Facebook Connect.
The move enables travellers to share details of forthcoming trips with friends and family on Facebook.
The company said it was prompted to integrate with the social network following demand from customers.
TripIt already has a travel application on LinkedIn and recently unveiled mobile applications for the iPhone and Android. A service for Blackberries is currently in development.
