Low-cost airline bmibaby has improved conversion rates and gained additional revenue following a tie-up with LeadCall.

The technology provider tracks visitors to the carrier’s website and triggers a call back to the carrier if a customer abandons a transaction.

The airline can then follow up with a text message, phone call or e-mail to see if they can help the customer in any way.

Bmibaby claims it has seen conversion rates increase by 25% as a result of implementing the technology, adding that operational costs have remained the same, as customers are contacted when consultants would otherwise be waiting for their next call.
