Kenya Airways has struck a five-year full content distribution deal with Travelport.

The agreement will allow agent users of the Galileo and Worldspan GDSs to gain access to the Skyteam member carrier’s full inventory of flights and fares, including web tariffs.

The airline’s group managing director Titus Naikuni said: "The extensive network that Travelport offers through its Galileo and Worldspan platforms, both within Africa and further afield, gives us exceptional access to the travel trade and is an important part of our overall distribution strategy."

Travelport UK and Ireland general manager Jérôme Moisan said: "Kenya Airways is a leading airline operating one of the largest fleets in Africa with significant expansion plans across the continent.

"We look forward to working closely with Kenya Airways as a strategic partner and providing our users with full content."
