Bristol Airport gets Virtual Assistants

Bristol Airport is now home to three Virtual Assistants as part of a series of initiatives aimed as simplifyng the security process.
The assistants, which have been provided by Tensator, use audio visual-technology to communicate safety and security passengers while they pass through the security area and immigration hall.
The airport expects the technology to help reduce waiting and queueing times.
Philip Holder from Bristol Airport said: “We wanted to enhance the experience for customers whilst in security and immigration.
"For many passengers liquid restrictions or use of Immigration e-gates can be confusing. In using the Virtual Assistants, this state-of-the-art audio visual technology helps give guidance and reassurance to our customers at the most critical times.”
The Virtual Assitants are already in place at Luton and Birmingham airports.
