Ticket re-pricing capabilities are being made available to online travel buyers using Emirates’ website www.emirates.com.

The Travelport rebooking module includes a graphical user interface which is integrated with the airline’s “manage an existing booking” feature.

This allows passengers to change or cancel their itinerary from any device that has an internet connection.

Emirates joins other global carriers in implementing the new Travelport Rapid Reprice Rebooking Module.

The separate Rapid Reprice Select eliminates the need to conduct different shopping requests to find more than one alternate low-fare itinerary.

A selection of instantly bookable alternates is presented in a single request with complete pricing, including accurate fares, taxes, additional collections, refunds, penalties or fees.

Travelport Airline IT Solutions president and managing director Derek Sharp said: “Emirates is among a growing number of carriers dedicated to enhancing their websites by giving customers advanced, shopping and rebooking tools.”

The airline’s e-commerce vice-president Bob Kabli said: “Travelport’s guidance, support and commitment to constant innovation in e-commerce repricing technologies have played a significant role in growing our revenues."
