Expedia Affiliate Network has secured a partnership with the largest corporate travel agency in Finland, CWT Kaleva Travel.

The agent, which is part of the multi-national Carlson Wagonlit Travel group, will use EAN’s white-label Chameleon web platform and daily hotels deals tool Merchandising Central.

The deal gives Kaleva Travel access to and the ability to book hotels from the Expedia network’s database of more than 150,000 properties worldwide.

Terhi Hakulinen, marketing director at Kaleva Travel, said: “Our previous hotel service was just a pure booking engine so one of the aspects we found most compelling about EAN’s products was the opportunity to provide customised offers to our key audience of Finnish travellers, as well as increasing the range of search criteria and relevance of the hotels we offer.

“We’re confident that this move will entice more customers to book through the site, boosting our conversion rates.”

Bryan Lip, director business development at EAN added: “We’re now working with many of the most exciting and influential online travel companies from across the world, including airtickets.gr, Tingo, iglobe.ru and webjet.com.au.

“Kaleva is a great addition to this list and we’re keen to help them move forward with enhancing their online hotel booking options.”
